Welcome to the DoT Daily Horror Film Fest! Throughout the month, I’ll be featuring new horror every weekday. Sometimes that will be indie films, sometimes it’ll be big-name stuff, shorts, or even TV shows. Scary, funny, schlocky, quiet, eerie – something for the well-rounded horror fan. Plus interviews with filmmakers and a chance to support projects still in the works. Today’s feature is the short film, I Heard It Too, written by Matt Sears and directed by Sears and Tim Knight.
I Heard It Too is based on a two-sentence short story, “A girl heard her mom yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started to head down. As she got to the stairs, her mom pulled her into her room and said ‘I heard that, too.'” If you have a kid, and you’re spending the night alone with them, maybe save this one for another night.
