There is nothing like a good creepy commercial for drilling an image into a viewer’s head. Producer/Director Ray Sullivan and writer Garret Shanley have updated the “Silver Shamrock” riff with an Internet ad for “Salvo’s Self-Assembly Cabinet,” which features a smiling mascot that will haunt your waking life. When a young couple suffers the death of their little boy, Salvo has a replacement for them. Obviously, this doesn’t turn out well for everyone, but it does have kind of a happy ending. I’d like to see more of Salvo. But I’ll understand if you don’t.
