One year ago today, I launched the Department of Tangents Blog & Podcast, a place where I could write about my love of comedy, music, and horror, and an outlet to interview the people who create those things I love. It’s changed a bit in design and format over the course of the year, and it’s an ever-developing project, and if I’m lucky, it always will be.

To celebrate, I’ve created a “Best Of” episode of the podcast compiling bits from the first eleven interviews with Brian Kiley, Noel Fielding, Dave Cobb, Nate Leavitt, Michael J Epstein and Sophia Cacciola, Brendan Boogie, Steven Wright, Robbie Fulks, the Reformed Whores, Tom Snyder, and Ruby Rose Fox.
