Throughout the month, I\u2019ll be featuring new horror every weekday. Sometimes that will be indie films, sometimes it\u2019ll be big-name stuff, shorts, or even TV shows. Scary, funny, schlocky, quiet, eerie \u2013 something for the well-rounded horror fan. Plus interviews with filmmakers and a chance to support projects still in the works. Today\u2019s feature is an animated rendition of that goriest of fairy tales, <em>Little Red Riding Hood<\/em> by directors Jorge Jaramillo and <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/carloguillot\" target=\"_blank\">Carlo Guillot<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><em>Red<\/em> is a rather striking visual interpretation of the story, clocking in around five minutes, and with no dialogue. It\u2019s an elemental struggle, here \u2013 child versus wolf. The main twist? \u201cRed\u201d wasn\u2019t red before she fought the wolf. <\/p>\n<p>Jaramillo has a lot of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jorge-jaramillo.com\" target=\"_blank\">beautiful stuff on his Web site<\/a>.
