BandCamp is waiving its fees today (Friday, March 20) and giving every penny of profit to artists. Connecticut-based roots rockers <a href=\"https:\/\/therivergods.com\/\">The Rivergods<\/a> were supposed to release their new album, Passages, in April at a record release show, but those plans are up in the air right now. But you can buy the new single, \u201cYankee Rant (Stay),\u201d right now on BandCamp. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ban\nParent, who sings lead and wrote this song, has this to say about the upcoming\nalbum: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rivergods make a\nfull return to their roots on Passages, their fifth full-length studio album,\nfollowing up 2017&#8217;s State of the Union. From the Stones-y bar romp of\n&#8220;Yankee Rant (Stay)&#8221; to the gritty blues shuffle of &#8220;Let Me Out,\nLord&#8221; to the to the traditional country sway of &#8220;Breakfast in\nBed,&#8221; Passages features nine new original Rivergods&#8217; songs, plus their first-ever\nrecorded cover, a haunting take on Neil Young&#8217;s &#8220;On the Beach&#8221; sung\nby vocalist Nancy Parent.
