I hope you\u2019ve enjoyed all of the featured films and shorts. Today\u2019s feature is episode one of the Web series <a href=\"http:\/\/zombiewithashotgun.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Zombie With A Shotgun<\/em><\/a> from writer\/director Hilton Ariel Ruiz.<\/p>\n<p>Ruiz has created five episodes of Zombie With A Shotgun and included them in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/zombie-with-a-shotgun-comic-horror#\/\" target=\"_blank\">Indiegogo campaign to make a feature film<\/a> with the same story. Episode One establishes that Aaron Walker has been infected with something, but he\u2019s not sure what. He and his girlfriend are under attack by people who think he\u2019s a zombie. \u201cWhen you watch episode one, you&#8217;re going to watch a couple that is on the run not knowing the state of Aaron Walker&#8217;s possible infection,\u201d says Ruiz. \u201cYou also see the strength of their love.\u201d And not all zombies are equal in Ruiz&#8217;s eyes. \u201cIn my zombie world mostly all of them are turned,\u201d says Ruiz, \u201cbut there are unique ones with special abilities such as our man character.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ruiz is using the Web series to raise money for the feature, which he is hoping to release in the spring of 2017. The rest of the series is available on the Indiegogo site. The film will follow the same story, but it will be all new footage.
