BandCamp is waiving its fees today (Friday, March 20) and giving every penny of profit to artists. Connecticut-based roots rockers <a href=\"https:\/\/therivergods.com\/\">The Rivergods<\/a> were supposed to release their new album, Passages, in April at a record release show, but those plans are up in the air right now. But you can buy the new single, \u201cYankee Rant (Stay),\u201d right now on BandCamp. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ban\nParent, who sings lead and wrote this song, has this to say about the upcoming\nalbum: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rivergods make a\nfull return to their roots on Passages, their fifth full-length studio album,\nfollowing up 2017\u2019s State of the Union. From the Stones-y bar romp of\n\u201cYankee Rant (Stay)\u201d to the gritty blues shuffle of \u201cLet Me Out,\nLord\u201d to the to the traditional country sway of \u201cBreakfast in\nBed,\u201d Passages features nine new original Rivergods\u2019 songs, plus their first-ever\nrecorded cover, a haunting take on Neil Young\u2019s \u201cOn the Beach\u201d sung\nby vocalist Nancy Parent.
