Every day through October, the Department of Tangents brings you the Daily Horror Film Fest – one short horror film for every day of the month. It might be terrifying, it might be funny. It could be an homage classic monsters or something entirely new. Check back every morning for a new scare as we celebrate horror shorts!
Let today’s short be your introduction to a whole world of Halloween and fall-themed songs by Boston band Summer Villains. I happen to know these guys love the holiday, so much so that they made a full album about in 2010, and priced it at $6.66 on BandCamp. “Halloweenilicious” is the title track, and this video, with its day-glo ghosts and neon ghoul musicians is just a ton of spooky fun. Go download the album now in time for your Halloween celebrations, and check out their non-Halloween stuff, too.
I know, I’m avoiding the question. What does Halloweenilicious taste like? That is something every adult has to answer for themselves once they reach the proper age, and it wouldn’t be right for me to try to influence your decision. I will say, though, there are only two choices. So pick wisely. So much depends on your answer.
