Every day through October, the Department of Tangents brings you the Daily Horror Film Fest – one short horror film for every day of the month. It might be terrifying, it might be funny. It could be an homage classic monsters or something entirely new. Check back every morning for a new scare as we celebrate horror shorts!
Stupid dumb horror movies. They’re all the same. Buncha cute kids get slaughtered by a maniac. I don’t know why I’m even posting these things. I mean, something like that would be impossible. All that supernatural crap. You’ll probably just laugh this off, right? This short film “Vexed,” directed by Marc Cartwright and written by Baker Chase Powell, who also plays the skeptical Nick. It’s just as improbable as that other thing they made, “Sloven,” from the first DHFF“Slo. Who would ever believe something like this could happen. That’s right. Just let yourself fall asleep. Everything’s fine, really. Nothing at all will be out of place when you wake up.
