Welcome to the second annual Daily Horror Film Fest! Every day in October, the Department of Tangents will spotlight a short horror film or a trailer for an upcoming feature-length film. Check the site every day for your a new jolt, featuring films I saw at festivals, found on the Internet, or were submitted for inclusion by the filmmakers themselves.
Starting us off is Save, a Spanish film from Iván Sáinz-Pardo. I saw this one at the Boston Short Film Festival and made a note to keep it in mind for October. It will surely resonate for anyone who has ever been in charge of an infant’s safety, or anyone who appreciates the fragility of life. The tagline from the trailer is, “There are nightmares that last only a few minutes… but change everything forever.”
