A Note on Insignificance for the New Year

This time of year has a way of making you feel a bit small. Looking back on things you didn’t get done, trying to embolden yourself to make changes in the coming year. Using an arbitrary dateline as motivation to be something you’ve never been, but desperately want to be, if only you could find the discipline and time. Trying to fend off the technician at your door who’s trying to harvest your liver because you signed up to be an organ donor and there’s been a clerical mix-up, and you haven’t even had a chance to shower and change your housecoat. Same thing every year, right? Well, hopefully this makes you feel better.

Happy New Year. Be careful what you sign.
