Trevor Williams wrote and directed the short film The Jane, which debuted on the UCB Comedy Vimeo site April 13. Funny thing about The Jane, it’s not a comedy. It’s a contemplation on choices, mostly bad ones, and monogamy. On the very first Department of Tangents minicast, Williams told me that the Vimeo platform is a place where directors from UCB’s digital program can create things a bit more personal, a bit different from a short based on sketch comedy. Watch the full film below.

One man's sexual escapade at the Jane Hotel challenges notions of love, monogamy, fate, and our ability to make decisions in general.
